One recent afternoon in the Flavorful World test kitchen, everything came up roses.  All the stars aligned.  The world, for one brief moment in time, learned to sing in perfect harmony, and the age of Aquarius dawned in the form of the above pictured dish.

The jeon (Korean-style pancake that can be prepared with a variety of ingredients) were made with diced jalapeno, shrimp paste, and fresh spinach.  We encrusted the New York Strip with a blend of brown sugar, chili powder, sea salt, and other spices, and grilled it to well-seasoned greatness.  And a good meal was had by all, and will be again.

Sounds delicious. I’ve never had jeon — is it similar to okonomiyaki but more spicy perhaps? Shrimp and jalapeno…. mouth is watering…
