After nearly a month of waiting (we missed the resoundingly auspicious beginning of this festival last month and we were as bummed as bummed could be upon finding out we’d missed it by mere days) the monthly food truck festival known as Truckeroo is returning to Washington D.C. this Friday, July 15th, 2011.
It’s coming back to spread its message of better living through good eating and foodie camaraderie, and Flavorful World will be there. Admission is free, there’ll be live music, and it’s pretty easily accessible by Metro (you’ll find the goods located on Half and M Street SE, just across the way from the Navy Yard Metro Station on the Green Line.)
Word on the Truckeroo DC website is that over 18,000 hungry souls came calling at the first Truckeroo to give the resident trucks their busiest day since going into business. With that kind of turn out, wouldn’t you like to Truckeroo too? We’ll do some live Tweeting from the site so make sure you’re following us at @FlavorfulWorld if you can’t be there but want to keep up with the latest flavors.
