The 2nd Annual Taste of France is the world’s largest event dedicated to France, and on Saturday, Sept. 28 and Sunday, Sept. 29, it’s coming to NYC’s Bryant Park. During this two-day Francophile’s paradise, award-winning French Dijon mustard brand Maille will present a miniature boutique where visitors can sample and purchase jars of its renowned Chablis Dijon Mustard “à la pompe” (“on tap.”) 3.5-ounce traditional earthenware mustard pots will be filled to order, sealed with an elegant cork stopper, and sold for $18 (2 jars for $30.)
Marking the first time this French delicacy will be available for sale in the United States, the 2013 Taste of France will be open from 11am to 11pm on Saturday 09/28, with hours from 11am to 7pm on Sunday 09/29. Eventgoers visiting the mini- boutique will also enjoy exclusive preview samples of a brand new mustard scheduled to make its debut in 2014.
General admission is complimentary, though tickets will be required for special events attendance. In addition to offering visitors an opportunity to enjoy French cuisine, wine & spirits, fashion, and culture, this year’s celebration will benefit Action Against Hunger.
