Holiday Cocktail Recipe Series: Day 12 of 12 – Santa Sparkler

And as it goes with all good things, so it goes with this…

Tonight marks the final cocktail in our series, and for those wondering why we ended it on the 23rd instead of on Christmas Eve, it’s because we figure that with Santa taking flight soon, many of you will be far too busy tracking his sleigh tomorrow night (or engaging in whatever outrageously fun activity it is that people without small children tend to favor) to much care for reading about cocktails. But that’s tomorrow. As for tonight, we have another alcohol-free entry that’s tasty enough for an adult’s palate, but also perfect for sharing with the little ones on Christmas Day.

Today’s cocktail:

Santa Sparkler

  • 4oz of Cascade Ice Lemonade
  • 2oz of apple juice

Mix Cascade Ice Lemonade and apple juice in a glass with ice. If desired, garnish with a green apple wedge and a cinnamon stick.

Yesterday’s entry was one to remember*. See it here if you missed it.

There. We’re done. But before we go…

BONUS DRINK: (hey, it is the holiday season, after all!)

Copper Cafe
Mezcal el Silencio Espadin

Okay, so because we don’t handle endings very well around here, we’re ponying up a little bonus for the grown-ups. This one’s got some hair on its chest, so enjoy it after the little ones are tucked in for the night, and make merry.

  • Copper Cafe
  • 2 oz. Mezcal el Silencio Espadin
  • .5 oz. Licor 43
  • .25 oz. Coffee Liqueur
  • Dash Chocolate Bitters
Build & Stir. Serve in an old fashioned glass with a cinnamon stick.

Whatever you drink, and whomever you spend your holidays with,
whether this is your first visit to our site or your 10001st,
we appreciate you and we’re grateful to have you.

CHEERS, and HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!
