Harlem Shake Restaurant to Observe Women’s History Month With Fun Pop-Up Event

Award-winning Harlem Shake restaurants have earned a reputation for serving up fast-casual burgers, shakes and good times with Harlem pride. On Friday, March 31st, 2017 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm, the establishment’s East Harlem location will host its first pop-up shop in celebration of Women’s History Month.

Attendees will sip complimentary wine selections courtesy of Lauber Imports, and enjoy complimentary spa treatment by Lavish Laser in addition to specials on delicious Harlem Shake menu items.

Curated by the Young Brown Collective (a collective of advisors, advocates and benefactors for small businesses and communities of color in the New York tri-state area), this event will showcase accessories, hand-made hair, and beauty products, all of them created by local women of color, including The 125th Street Collection, Amber Poitier, Geenie Box, and Hecho en Harlem.

An appearance from Miss Harlem Shake 2016 is on the menu as well, and Harlem Shake’s co-owners Jelena Pasic and Dardra Coaxum will be there too, seeking applicants for the 2017 competition. Interested parties can make use of an on-site kiosk to submit head shot photos and applications in their quest to be this year’s Miss Harlem Shake.

Shop, Sip & Shake is a FREE event, however RSVP is preferred: http://bit.ly/2nelRax
