Argonaut Cycles Partners with Chefs Cycle in Bike Raffle to Benefit No Kid Hungry Non-Profit

Cyclists and foodies, take note: Argonaut Cycles has partnered up with Chefs Cycle to donate a full-build custom carbon fiber bicycle to raise funds for the No Kid Hungry initiative.

We’ve talked about No Kid Hungry here in the past, but if you haven’t heard about Chefs Cycle, then know that it’s a fundraising endurance event that unites award-winning chefs and members of the culinary community to combat hunger outside the kitchen.

As for the Argonaut bike being raffled off, it will be a custom job, fitted to the rider both in size and the frame’s carbon layup, tailored to the winner’s personal riding style and preference of feel on the road.

The raffle is being facilitated by renowned Portland chef, Chris DiMinno, who is partnering with Argonaut to raise the funds. After taking his first ride with Chefs Cycle in 2016, DiMinno has made raising funds for No Kid Hungry a year-long initiative.

For 2017, the team of celebrity chef riders aims to double last year’s success by raising $2 million for 20 million meals. Each rider has a personal fundraising page with the goal of raising at least $7,500 as part of a community of committed culinary cyclists who marry their passions for food, fitness, and philanthropy.

Raffle tickets are selling for $50 per ticket or $125 for 3 tickets. Purchase them online here until Friday, May 19th, 2017 for your chance to win an Argonaut that retails for $12,800.

100% of the proceeds are a direct donation to Chefs Cycle/No Kid Hungry.
