Every foodie who spends enough wandering the world in search of good things to eat and drink will eventually reach his or her Autumn years. When that happens, one would do well to find a place to call home that abounds with good dining experiences Data scientists at APlaceForMom.com recently released findings identifying the seven best cities for food lovers of retirement age to lay down roots.
The analysis took into account things like the median cost of rent in various areas, as well as applying a “Drinking and Dining Score” to each city evaluated. While the top spot, in a result certain to surprise many, went to Evanston, Illinois, other cities to place hew closer to what we’ve come to expect of certain places, with New York City earning two spots and areas throughout California taking three.
