Rocktöberfest Returns to KISS Icons’ Rock & Brews Restaurants

Now through October 22nd, guests at rock music-inspired restaurant chain Rock & Brews can enjoy the establishment’s seventh annual Rocktöberfest celebration honoring the traditional Bavarian festival, Oktoberfest. With the first of its seventeen locations throughout the U.S. and Mexico opened in April 2012, Rock & Brews was founded by rock icons Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley of KISS, with partners, restaurateur Michael Zislis and concert industry veterans Dave and Dell Furano.

Participating locations will feature a special Rocktöberfest menu loaded with German-inspired dishes and beers, and further liven up the promotion with exciting Rocktöberfest festivities on Friday and Saturday nights starting at 6:00 p.m. Think traditional Oktöberfest music, along with your favorite old-school rock jams, prizes, and games like men’s and women’s stein-holding contests.

“Rocktöberfest has become a long-standing tradition at Rock & Brews,” said Zislis. “We take this as an opportunity for family & friends to enjoy traditional German food and customs alongside our extensive selection of craft beers.”

As for the food specials, they will include fare like German pretzels (always an Oktöberfest favorite), a chicken schnitzel platter or sandwich with braised red cabbage, and bratwurst sandwiches served on Rock & Brews’ famous Bavarian pretzel rolls. Those who know how to drink with style can purchase a 1-liter stein to chug a selection of German-inspired beers including Spaten Lager and Franzikaner Hefe-Weiss.
